From a point on the ground, the angle of elevation of the top of a tower is 30°. If the distance between the point and the foot of the tower is 50 meters, find the height of the tower.
(Use √3 = 1.732)

Solution (उत्तर):Given:
Distance from point to tower base (Base) = 50 m
Angle of Elevation = 30°
Let height of tower = h meters

tan(30°) = h/50
tan(30°) = 1/√3 = 1/1.732
=> h = 50 / 1.732 = 28.87 meters
